Start a chapter and create a space where children with special needs can move, connect, and feel confident.

What is a chapter?

A Proud to Be Me chapter is a small team that brings free, inclusive dance and movement classes to their local community.

 

Chapters can be based in a school, a local studio, or across an entire city—what matters is creating a space where kids feel supported, included, and free to be themselves.

As a chapter lead, you can:

  • Lead free in-person dance classes in your community

  • Offer virtual classes in other languages to expand accessibility

You may also:

  • Create simple lesson plans or choreography

  • Partner with local schools or programs

  • Help raise awareness and build community

  • Organize small events or fundraisers
